Guess What Time It Is?! It's Medicare Open Enrollment from October 15, 2022 to December 7, 2022.
NOTE: This is different from Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment (this is the period where you can change your Medicare Advantage Plan or change back to original Medicare from January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023)
It's a time where many are confused about their choices and how it will affect their healthcare. There's many questions.... Should I keep my original Medicare? Will my medications be covered? What about the "donut hole" or "gap"? Will I be able to see my doctor? Can I still see my Physical Therapist? What will my Part B premium be? Is the Medicare age changing?
What do we know? Good news, Medicare Part B premiums and deductibles are being reduced in 2023. If your current plan is still being offered, you don't have to do anything. But is is wise to look at your options.
