Good afternoon all!  We want to share our experience from yesterday with you.  Take a look on our Facebook page at our photos from the SALT Expo! (Seniors and Lawmen Together)  This is an annual event that we attend.  The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office and City of Gonzales sponsor this safety event.  Current safety concerns for seniors are discussed and Preventive measures they can take to help keep themselves at less risk of crimes.  There's always some humor from the local dignitaries.  Students usually help serve the seniors.  Lunch is provided, along with valuable community education from local vendors and free door prizes.  It was a joy to run into old acquaintances and make new friends!  Come see what you're missing next time!  We hope to see you next November for SALT!
