Goodbye 2020!

Well folks, it's been a year!  And that's an understatement!

Shall we review?  Politics has created divisiveness instead of unity, Social Injustice has been at the forefront, 2020 Atlantic Hurricane season most active than ever before, Record unemployment, the Novel Coronavirus assualted our country and the world, face masks have become the norm, businesses large and small have been closing, our healthcare systems have been overwhelmed, we've lost jobs, homes, relationships, & lives.  Our elderly have been isolated, schools were closed and hand sanitizer, toilet paper and lysol have become coveted overpriced commodities.  And the list goes on.

Amidst all of the negatives that have been poured upon us all this year, including the closure of our own business and small return of patients as we try to open, we feel the need to speak about the postitives. We have our health-none of our employees have had the virus.  Our family and friends that have had the virus have recovered.  We have had more time to focus on and build a stonger personal relationship.  Our prayer practices have significantly increased, bringing us closer to HIM and trusting His will.  We've also witnessed many people coming together to help those most impacted by the virus: the isolated elderly, the healthcare workers, and small businesses.  While the virus has limited what folks can do in person, we've seen so much creativity come into action.  We are proud of the network of community professionals that we are a part of that have done so much in such a difficult time.

Although we will look back on 2020 with sadness, anger, frustration etc, we also want to challenge ourselves to seek and acknowledge the postives and look forward with HOPE for better things to come in 2021.

Happy New Year yall!

Isaiah 40:31

31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Jerimiah 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

See you in 2021!  David & Kristi
