AC joint separation exercises

AC joint exercises should begin when the ligament has healed and there is little or no pain.  After cold therapy and immobilization,

grade 1 and 2 injuries should start ROM and stabilization exercises. Correct scapular movement is also very important. Pendulum

exercises should be incorporated if the shouder has been immobilized for a period of time.  Isometric exercises exercises in all

planes of the shoulder for stabilization should start when pain free.  Isometric means contracting without movement. Later strength
