Nicole received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Louisiana State University and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Kristi Miranda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1994 & her master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University in 1996.
She has experience working with children & families, at a rape crisis program, with dual diagnosis patients, and in both in-patient and out-patient psychiatric settings. More recently, she worked as an outpatient therapist with patients receiving Suboxone treatment in Prairieville, La. This included working with the physician, the patient's family and with their employers if applicable.
At Excel Rehabilitation Services, Kristi functions in multiple roles. She is primarily the community liaison, meeting with the public and other medical professionals regarding the benefits of Physical Therapy and about Excel Rehab’s services in particular.
Kristi also helps run the day to day operations, maintains social media for the practice and performs the billing duties. As a Social Worker, Kristi likes to keep the patients informed regarding resources in the community that benefit their patients’ overall well being. In January 2019, she established AMPEDUP, their amputee support group.
