Cancer

Fatigue, decreased strength and decreased endurance are all experienced by patients undergoing cancer treatment.  It has been shown that exercise programs prevent the manifestation of and reduce the intensity of cancer fatigue.  Lymphedema can also be experienced with cancer.

Excel Rehabilitation Services has an on-site upper extremity and lower extremity pneumatic compression systems to help reduce Lymphedema.  We also provide strength and range of motion programs for patients who have received TRAM (Transverse Rectus Abdominus Myocutaneous Flap) after breast cancer.
